Dean Mailer at Fairfield Housing Co-operative

Dean has been with the Co-operative since August 2008 and has been working with Estate Caretakers doing a variety of jobs including Stair Cleaning, Litter Picking, Cleaning out of Empty Houses, and Grass Cutting.

Dean said he’s had a brilliant 6 months and wishes he could stay for longer. He has enjoyed working with others and getting to know the staff in the Caretaking team. When Dean’s not at work he’s an avid Rangers supporter and goes to the games regularly with his family. Dean said he’s enjoyed learning how to do new things and doing things he’s never done before. In particular he’s enjoyed being able to help others including the tenants at Fairfield, and would recommend the project to other people his age. Our photo shows Dean with colleague Dave Bruscaglia.
