Ashleigh McIntosh at Fairfield Housing Co-operative

Ashleigh joined the Co-operative in August 2009 to help with admin and reception duties.  Ashleigh is 16 and left school earlier in the year, she is keen to follow her mum into an office or administrative job and is on placement at Fairfield for 3 months.  Ashleigh’s duties include taking repairs, taking rent payments, answering the phones, dealing with contractors and tenants and helping other staff in the office.  Ashleigh has been an enormous help and we hope that the experience she has gained will stand her in good stead for getting a permanent position.
