The Co-operative is committed to involving our tenants and customers in our work, to allow them to influence and shape the service we provide and ensure they meet current and future needs.
We are always keen to hear from tenants on any subject, whether it be praise or protest. We'd also like you to tell us your views on how you participate in the Co-operative’s day to day running & should we be doing more to involve you, and if so, how would you like to be involved?
Our Residents Panel is a new initiative which we hope will give tenants an opportunity to contribute to decision making and changes without coming along to formal meetings. We contact members of the panel by phone or by visiting tenants in their own homes, to get feedback on a variety of issues. We ask about a number of Co-operative services such as stair cleaning, landscaping, repairs and maintenance services and have recently completed a consultation exercise on improving our Tenants handbook.
If you would be interested in joining our Residents Panel, contact Gillian White or Susan Duncan for more information.
- Does every contact made with tenants count as participation, or do you think we should be encouraging tenants to form their own groups?
- How would you feel about us phoning you more often to conduct surveys or to consult with you?
- Are you happy with the services we provide and not interested in participating?
Get in touch and let us know what you think about the Co-operative's services and tenant involvement.
