Recognition of Fairfield's Green Efforts

Funding for the second phase of the development is now in place and it is hoped that contractors will start on site soon. An open day was held on 4 December to allow tenants moving to Phase 2 properties to view plans of the area and their house type, and also choose a kitchen. The afternoon was a great success with over 45 residents attending. If you have not yet chosen your kitchen, please call into Perthshire Housing Association’s offices at 5 St John’s Place to do so.

It was also recently announced that funding was awarded by the Big Lottery People’s Fund, to contribute towards a walking and cycling bridge across the Tay. Perth & Kinross Council will lead the project which has now received a significant boost.
