Leonard Street Development starts

The Co-operative’s newest development has started on site with the demolition of the old garden machinery workshop at Leonard Street in Perth city centre. The demolition of the existing building is an awkward one due to being in such a confined space so completion will take a bit longer than normal, we expect around twelve months.  Sixteen flats are planned for the site, both one and two bedrooms and it is anticipated that it will be a car-free development, again due to space constraints and the city centre location. You couldn’t ask for a better spot when it comes to transport links – the bus and train stations are just a stone’s throw away as are shops and other local amenities.
