Fairfield's 20th Anniversary Photo Exhibition
The first of the Co-op's events to celebrate our 20th year in operation was held a few weeks ago, with a photographic exhibition of Fairfield residents old and new, by Brian J Fischbacher.
The images are striking and reinforce the amazing achievements of what has been one of Perth's real success stories.
The exhibition was opened by Perth's Lord Provost John Hulbert who reflected on the achievements of the Co-operative and the massive change in the estate over the past 20 years.
Many of you will know and have lived in the estate of 20 years ago. It was one of the most deprived housing estates in Europe, now it's one of the most coveted. The credit for this transformation is down to the people who live here and all those involved in making it what it is today. We hope you'll all join us in the celebrations.
We hope to hold a series of events over the course of the year and want to get as many tenants involved in this as possible. If you are interested in helping us organise the forthcoming events, please get in touch as soon as possible.
